Ciheb Zambia has been awarded the Advance Differentiated Service Delivery for Vulnerable and Adolescent Populations for National Control of HIV Epidemic (ADVANCE) project to support the Ministry of Health (MOH) to achieve durable, sustainable HIV epidemic control through comprehensive, quality, integrated, and HIV prevention services to most at-risk populations with a consortium of proven local and international partners. In line with PEPFAR reimagined goals, Ciheb Zambia, is a national leader in scaling up public health and community-based, person-centered care for HIV prevention interventions for vulnerable adolescents and young people (AYP), including the Determined Resilient Empowered AIDS-Free Mentored and Safe (DREAMS) initiative and Coaching Boys into Men.
ADVANCE will enable supportive and empowering interventions to improve health for vulnerable and AYP especially on stigma and discrimination. This will be done through supportive services and wellness centers, sensitizations in health facilities and communities, and engaging government health policy initiatives. Additionally, ADVANCE will expand differentiated service delivery (DSD) models to provide integrated and comprehensive health services to scale up safe spaces and integrate with facilities.
