Launch of Second Trainer of Trainers Cycle on UPC.

The second cycle of Trainer of Trainers (TOTs) on the Universal Prevention Curriculum (UPC) and Universal Treatment Curriculum (UTC) was officially launched and graced by Dr. Salammah Magnuson, Professional Associate, Political Economic Section US Embassy Zambia. These TOTs are funded by the Bureau of International Narcotics and Law Enforcement Affairs (INL), U.S. Department of State, and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) through Ciheb Zambia.

The training is jointly coordinated by the Ministry of Health, the Drug Enforcement Commission, Ciheb Zambia, and the Colombo Plan Drug Advisory Program. Its goal is to strengthen the capacity of health care workers and civil society organizations in the delivery and management of services for persons with substance use disorders."
